THE OPPORTUNITY

At Thrive Commerce, the Business Systems Manager will be instrumental in managing and optimizing the systems that power our vendor partnerships, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals and operational excellence. This role demands a visionary leader who can drive significant improvements across multiple systems, enhance integration processes, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • System Optimization & Management: Revamp and optimize business systems, including ERP, PLM, and OMS/WMS, to improve efficiency, accuracy, and alignment with business goals.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with IT, Merchandising, Product Development, and other departments to ensure effective system integration, reduce errors, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Project Leadership: Lead system enhancement projects from inception to completion, including developing centralized data repositories and integrating QA/QC systems, to support robust product operations management.
  • Vendor Management: Negotiate with vendors to optimize software functionality and cost, ensuring systems are aligned with evolving business needs and enhancing operational value.
  • Strategic Analysis & Reporting: Conduct comprehensive system performance analyses, providing insights to guide strategic decisions and improve ROI.
  • Training & Support: Develop and implement training programs to enhance system user proficiency and reliability across the organization.
  • Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Spearhead initiatives to incorporate new technologies and methodologies, such as 3D business environments, to drive operational efficiency and innovation.
  • WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 7+ years of experience in business systems management, including roles such as Lead Business Systems Manager or Senior Business Systems Strategist.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Oracle), PLM systems (e.g., Flex PLM), and e-commerce platforms. Experience with integration tools and methodologies (e.g., Atlassian, Azure, AWS) is essential.
  • Strong data analysis and visualization capabilities, with experience in tools like Tableau and Adobe Analytics.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage vendor relations, and drive consensus across departments.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into actionable insights for stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
  • BONUS POINTS

    • Global. Previous exposure or significant stakeholdership in the global/international execution of product experiences, is a plus.
    • A degree in Supply Chain Management or related industry experience is a plus.
